The Associated General Contractors of America, San Diego Chapter, Inc. (AGC) installed its 2023 officers and board members at the Chapter's Installation program on Thursday, January 12. Over 300 guests attended the event which was sponsored by Alliant Insurance Services and Liberty Mutual Surety. Austin Cameron, President of TC Construction Co., was installed as the 78th President in the AGC’s 96-year history. He asked his father, Terry Cameron, to install him. Terry served as a past board member for 19 years. Austin succeeds Kari Kyne of Kyne Construction, Inc. Austin has served on the AGC Board of Directors for 9 years. During that time he has chaired the AGC Government Relations Committee, Political Action Committee (PAC), and the Membership Committee. Before becoming a Board Member, Austin chaired the Engineering General Contractors’ Council. In addition, he has also supported many AGC events, including the golf tournaments and the spring and winter conferences among others. He is very committed to AGC San Diego! In 2001, Mike and Sandy created a monthly publication to highlight the construction industry and promote all branches of the profession.
