From AGC's Build & Serve Charitable Alliance The Build & Serve Charitable Alliance's next giving back to the community project is to support our Women Warriors for a Military Mom's Baby Shower Drive. Foundation for Women Warriors (FWW) is a 100-year old nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and empowering the women veteran community. Often overshadowed by their male counterparts, Foundation for Women Warrior's programs honor, empower and support the women who answered our nation’s call to serve. AGC is hosting a Military Mom/Baby Shower Drive from now through May 18 and we could use your help ensuring our veteran moms have everything they need. Can you imagine welcoming a new bundle of joy into your family without baby essentials? This past year, 77% of the veterans we served through our financial assistance programs were single parents. And for those first-time parents, purchasing new baby essentials became an added financial struggle that no one should have to face. FWW's Bright Beginnings Baby Shower waitlist has grown to over 100 veterans and is increasing each day. AGC is helping to ensure our veteran moms and their babies have everything they need for a bright beginning. Here are a few ways you can pitch in: • You may order items directly through their Amazon Wishlist. • Items can be dropped off at four AGC Member locations throughout the County: 1. Atlas Technical Consultants - Mission Valley 2. Erickson-Hall Construction Co. - Escondido 3. Trench Shoring Company - Miramar 4. AGC office - Lakeside FLYER Thank you in advance for supporting our Women Warriors.
